Movie Review

After ‘Sanju’, ‘Soorma’ is another biography type movie release of Bollywood.

So the soorma is the story of Indian professional hockey player Sandeep Singh this movie takes us thru his personal and professional life how he got into the sport and how he played for the country and the tragedy that cost him personal and professional life set back and his come back in the field and prove himself on the field.

See this: Sanju Movie Review

A young man is living a laid-back life of national players brother he meets the girl he likes and somehow convince his brother to get him into the national hockey game during all this the guys get the success in impressing the girl and also show his magic on the field but fate have planned something else for him.

During all these goodie stuff going on in his life a tragedy hits him hard a bullet in the back causes him the loss in love and profession both, the player is now in wheelchair for who-knows how long and love is abandoning him and the player goes thru suffering but clings to his faith and after going thru the series of events player makes it back in the field after two years since the accident.

Again proving himself in the field and gets the girl back in his life. The screenplay of the movie was good enough the watch till the end but I feel they would have shown the field life and teamwork of the player and a bit less of other not so related events of the player,

But overall movie is good enough to keep you on your seats till the end

I will give the 4 out of 5-star rating to the film.

But the final verdict is always in hand of the audience.
